Mission, vision, activities Having ministered in Central Europe for more than 25 years, Paul VanLaar established Azur in 2006. Azur serves churches in Western- and Central Europe with worship music.
Azurs mission is to see people discover more of God's grace through worship music. Azur works with worship leaders, bands and artists in a management agency, offers booking services to churches and Christian events and serve as a facilitator for larger worship events in Central Europe.
Azur comes from the Hebrew "azur" or "azor", meaning: helper, supporter. That is just what Azur intends to do: serve the churches with good music.
Working together with local churches, bookers, ticketers and event-organizers, over the last year Azur has been able to host Hillsong United, Brian Doerksen, Michael W. Smith, Parachute Band, InSalvation, Shirchadasj & band and many many others.
Location Azur is based in Veenendaal, the Netherlands. A team of 4 works with western European churches, bands and worship leaders. From the Central European office another 3 build relationships with churches in the region and work with local organizers.
How can we help? Azur is there to serve you. Azurs goal is not to see more concerts organized. Azur sees strength and blessing increase, when we can help churches to use the available means in order to reach more people with their worship ministry. Azur serves the churches, organizations and musicians with: - Management for worship leaders and bands - Organizing and promoting concerts together with churches and promoters - Support and advise organizations and promoters - Build strategic relations between organizations and people - Building up management and concert promotion in regions where this is necessary. Azur is a non-profit organization.
